LIBRA MONTHLY HOROSCOPE - GENERAL

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of December in your communication sector, there is a lot of focus on communication at this time of year and especially with Mercury, the planet of communication often moving through at the time. While the Sun is always in direct motion and always future focused, this is going to give you the best of both worlds, with a chance to keep an eye on where you are going in a month where there is a lot of focus on giving the past and unsaid words a voice. This is partly because both planets in your relationship sector are in retrograde motion, but also because Mercury is in retrograde motion in your communication sector until 16th December and Mars will turn retrograde in your friendship sector on 7th December. These are planets that have been working together since early November, with a strong bond already established on the communication, social and relationship fronts. It was Mercury’s retrograde turn late last month and Mars’ retrograde turn on 7th December that will put a lot more focus on giving the past and unsaid words a voice. This is something that will not only keep Mercury in your communication sector and Mars in your friendship sector all year, but with both leaving in the New Year they will be keen to work together. Meanwhile, while the Sun’s return to your home and family sector on 21st December is the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto things close to home, for the first time since 2007 it will be to find it empty. Pluto, the planet of change and transformation wrapped up his 20 year visit late last month, but until they both leave on 7th December, Venus and the dwarf planet Ceres will be working to bring your wants, needs and priorities into closer alignment. It is then that they will join Pluto in his first full month back in a playful and creative part of your chart, where he will not only spend the next 20 years but in close alliance with Jupiter until he leaves your sector of adventure, travel, learning and discovery in June 2025.

As you move into the new month Pluto, the planet of change and transformation has only been back in your romantic sector for 11 days, but this time he is here to stay. Pluto had left for a few months in early 2023 and earlier this year returned again, only to retrograde back out again over seven months later. However, this time Pluto was only gone for 11 weeks and when he returned last month it was to settle and not leaving again until 2044, he will remain here, keeping your romantic sector continuously active for the next two decades. The Moon will make both its first visit since Pluto’s return and its last visit to your romantic sector for the year from 5th December to 7th December and the timing couldn’t be better. Partly because the Moon is here for at least part of the first weekend of December but mainly because it will be during the Moon’s final hours that Venus, the planet of love and the dwarf planet Ceres will both return on 7th December. For Venus, this is her second visit this year and her second encounter with Pluto. With Venus not leaving until 3rd January, the planets of love and change will have a big influence on the final weeks of 2024, making these some of the most romantically charged weeks of the year. For Ceres, this will be the start of her first deep dive into your heart’s needs and priorities in four years, something that will keep her here until February. Returning within hours of each other, Venus and Ceres will have an eye on your heart’s wants, needs and priorities from the start. Meanwhile, while Chiron, the planet of healing will turn direct in your relationship sector on 30th December, with the dwarf planet Eris not turning direct here until January, a lot of the focus on the relationship front will be on the past all month. At the same time, leaving next month the North Node will continue to keep an eye on the future and where you are going, with a lot of help from Mercury, the planet of communication who will spend the whole month in your communication sector. Mercury will still be in retrograde motion when the Moon makes its last visit to your relationship sector for the year from 10th December to 12th December, making it easier to give your relationships, the past and unsaid words a voice.

While only an asteroid and tiny compared to the bulk of giant Uranus, Juno is not only helping to maintain a steady and stable state of balance between the two sides of the financial fence but is helping you to hold onto a sense of resolve on the income front. By the time the Sun left your income sector last month Venus and Mercury had already moved through, so this should have brought all planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence to a close. Instead, with the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment making her first visit in four years and not leaving until February, she is helping to keep things on track. Juno is also helping to maintain a partnership with both planets in your work sector, just as the tide is turning and work and job matters are starting to get the green light. You will get a better read on this when the Moon makes its last visit to your income sector for the year from 25th December to 27th December. While this will be over the holiday period with Venus, planet of money returning to your work sector on 3rd January, this will be a chance to tie things up from this year while giving you a chance to move into the New Year with a sharp nose for money. While this does mean that Juno is in competition with Uranus on the other side of the financial fence, they won’t clash until just before she leaves in February. This is keeping income and money matters out of each other’s way, while at the same time helping to keep things balanced. It also helps that Juno is looking to the future while in retrograde motion, Uranus has money matters more focused on the past. It is the Moon’s last visit to your financial sector for the year from 12th December to 14th December that will sharpen your financial instincts and give you a better read on money matters.
