Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your relationship sector, the solar spotlight is always on your relationships at this time of year, but with some major differences this year. One difference is the amount of time that Venus and Mercury had already spent in your relationship sector before the Sun returned and while they both left at the end of last month, how well this has prepared you for when in the closing hours of March Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned for the first time in 150 years. Venus will normally spend 24 days in your relationship sector and Mercury normally just 14 to 15 days. However, by the time Venus, the planet of love left on 27th March she had been here for nearly two months and by the time Mercury, the planet of communication left three days later, he had been here for six weeks. Both left before Neptune returned, but with Mercury returning on 16th April and Venus early next month, they will catch up with him then. With Saturn in his last full month in your work sector, Mars leaving your career sector on 18th April and the asteroid Juno retrograding back in to spend another six months in your income sector on 15th April, Venus and Mercury are back in time to capture one of the most important months of the year across the income, work and career fronts. Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your relationship sector, the solar spotlight is always on your relationships at this time of year. However, rarely with so much having already been put into the lead up to this or with this having just turned into something that is much more than just an ordinary annual update. The journey began back in February when both Venus and Mercury returned to your relationship sector so early that they were forced to wait for the Sun and by the time he returned on the March equinox, they were both already in retrograde motion. Venus, the planet of love had returned for what is normally a 24 day visit at the start of February and Mercury, the planet of communication two weeks later for what is normally a 14 to 15 day mission to get the communication lines open. With both in retrograde motion, as the Sun returned to look to the future, they were looking to the past. However, it was in the final four days of February that everything changed. It began when on 27th March Venus, the planet of love retrograded back out and then three days later, on 30th March Mercury did as well. The Moon was not only in your relationship sector by the time Mercury left, but an eclipsing New Moon on 29th March was wanting to move things forward. It was less than 12 hours after Mercury left, leaving no planets in retrograde motion and therefore allowing things to move forward that Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returned to your relationship sector for the first time in 150 years. Apart from a few months later in the year, Neptune is here for the next 15 years and next month he will be joined by Saturn, who will be returning for the first time in three decades and the dwarf planet Ceres, to begin her first deep dive into your relationship needs and priorities in four years. Mercury will be back in your relationship sector by 16th April, before the Sun leaves on 20th April, but Venus not until 1st May. With Pluto turning retrograde in your romantic sector next month and a major new relationship chapter underway, this is a whole new experience.

On both sides of the financial fence, for the first half of the month it is business as usual, though with a sense of confidence and anticipation. Business as usual means that while things have gone quiet on the income side of the financial fence, with Uranus in your financial sector since 2019, there is always going to be some focus on money matters, but in a way that is more about staying on track and focused on the big picture. There should be more financial confidence this year, because of Uranus’ growing closeness to the South Node in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart, which will peak in the final week of the month. Because the Sun’s return to your financial sector on 20th April is the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto your financial situation and money matters, this is when things always become more active on the financial front. With after six years, Uranus getting ready to leave in July, he will be working with the Sun to make this the year that you get on top of money matters. With Mercury not returning until next month and Venus, the planet of money not returning until June, this might be a slow burn, but this is just the way you want it. The Moon will begin and end the month in your financial sector, with your financial instincts sharp from the start.
